Rick Springfield

I don't generally use my blog site to post specific music shows that i shoot, unless it is to present a "best of" entry at the end of a year, but i had some better than average access to shoot the recent the Rick Springfield show at the Lawrenceburg Event Center and i was really pleased with both the show and my results so i thought i would publish them here. It looks a bit classier than Facebook after all. 

Now, i must admit i've never really been a Rick Springfield fan. I suppose everyone in my age group is at least familiar with Jessie's Girl, but beyond that i would be hard pressed to name one of his songs. Still, i was impressed with the playful energy and integrity that Springfield and his band brought to the stage that night, presenting a well produced and tastefully lit show that kept his mostly middle-aged audience on their feet for most of the evening. Rick still seems to play and sing as well as ever and frankly i hope that i can still look this good when i'm 67 years old. Keep on rockin' it Rick, you're doing just fine.
