Cherry Hill Beach runs the length of a rock covered sandy peninsula known as Clam Island that forms Hell Bay on the ocean side, just at the mouth of the Medway River. This creates an estuary of brackish water behind the beach which is dotted with a few small islands and forms a beautiful natural habitat for all kinds of wildlife.
Though the day had started as sunny and warm, a brisk wind was blowing by the time my friend Jacob and i hit the beach. A storm was moving in, but i think our timing was right to catch the most interesting light of the day.
