After the Rain...

It would not be fair to say that our trip north this year was a total washout, but we certainly have had more than our fair share of rain. There was a rather brief respite, and then rain again today, bringing with it a cold front. But while i am not too keen on standing out in a torrential downpour for a picture, fortunately, no matter what the forecast, photography happens! ;-)
Tomorrow is our last day in the countryside (it's the "Big City" of Halifax for Saturday and then home) and the forecast is for clear skies and a long coastal hike is certainly in the plan. But nature's beauty doesn't wait for the sunshine and often enough the rain enhances the flora with its own very special beauty. Here are just a few shots caught after the rains.
