Barenaked Ladies

I shot these guys much earlier in the year at the Lawrenceburg Event Center, but was just reminded by a LighthouseNOW post on Facebook about a show they just put on in Liverpool, Nova Scotia that i never did put up a gallery of images. Why does that article peak my interest so much? Well, i have been lamenting just a bit lately that once i make my move to Nova Scotia (hopefully next spring) my days of shooting any renown touring bands will pretty much come to an end. For the most part nobody tours in Nova Scotia. I'm pretty sure i will find an active local music scene, but you just don't get too many internationally known bands playing up there, even in Halifax. But suddenly i discover that Barenaked Ladies played Liverpool, of all places. Of course BNL is a homegrown Canadian band, and a quite enjoyable one at that, but they are from Ontario as far as i know so it is still a bit surprising that they played the relatively small town of Liverpool, NS. It kinda gives this ol' music shooter hope...
